CCTV Surveillance Systems

CCTV technology has greatly increased in popularity over recent years with digitally recorded images producing high quality images and the ability to replay specific footage at the touch of a button.

These systems can be integrated with existing computer networks so PCs can be used to monitor footage which has resulted in making it far more accessible as a security solution for homeowners and small businesses, as well as commercial and industrial customers. With a broadband connection the operator has the ability to view live or recorded footage from anywhere in the world when connected to the web.

GTM installs CCTV systems maintained to the latest British European standards (50132-1996) and an NSI (NACOSS) completion certificate will be issued. We are regulated by the SSAIB who monitor all aspects of our business and regularly audit our work so you can be guaranteed to receive the highest standard of service.

Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act 1988, all commercially installed systems are required to be registered. The ‘Code of Practice’ contains 62 legally enforceable ‘Standards’ that must be met to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Commissioner includes a further 30 points of good practice, which together with the standards, are designed to build and maintain public confidence in CCTV systems and to ensure that they operate within the law.
